提高创新能力敢为慈善之先，实施爱的教育勇立时代潮头。2018年11月9日晚，加拿大国际教育集团（CIEO）十八周年庆典暨“爱•筑梦”2018慈善艺术之夜在广州加拿大国际学校隆重举行。各级领导、中外教育界专家学者、家长代表、新闻媒体、合作伙伴以及其他社会各界嘉宾等盛装出席。

November 9, 2018 -- Improve our innovation ability.  Dare to be better through charity. Apply the education of love. Stand as a community leader.  Canadian International Educational Organization (CIEO) committed the evening to celebration of its 18th Anniversary Celebration with these goals in mind. Themed, "Love • Building Dreams" our 2018 Charity Art Night was held on the splendid campus of the Canadian International School of Guangzhou (CIS). CIEO was proud to host leaders, experts and scholars from Chinese and foreign education circles as well parents' representatives, media affiliates, partners and other guests at our gala.

CIEO董事长Winnie出席晚宴并发表了热情洋溢的讲话，她表示CIEO始终坚持“教育就是爱”的宗旨，以多元智能，全球智慧的教育理念，去教育出融文汇理，学贯东西，博古论今，出入世界的学子，培养具有世界影响力的未来领袖。CIEO旗下广东加优教育发展基金会将为推动广东省贫困地区教育事业发展和社会公益发挥更大的作用，坚持以身作则践行公益，传递公益爱心理念，用爱去教育和引导孩子，也用爱去支持中国贫困儿童的教育与成长。

CIEO Chairman, Winnie Chen, attended the dinner party and delivered a warm speech saying that CIEO has always worked to adhere to the principle of our slogan, "Education is Love," in educating future leaders with multi-intelligence and global wisdom. The CIEO Education Foundation aims to play a great role in promoting the development of education and social welfare in poorer areas of Guangdong Province, practicing and passing on the concepts of social responsibility and sharing love as part of our education and guidance for children.

惊喜二：人人可慈善 公益无界限

Charity, is the source of human happiness

笔墨丹青绘画卷，大爱无疆润心田。现场聚集了CIEO旗下国际学校、外国语学校、幼儿园等学生的精选画作进行拍卖；同时各校学生的书画和手工作品也进行了展出和义卖。珍藏一方丹青，奉献十分真情，现场嘉宾纷纷踊跃竞拍，慷慨解囊向此次慈善捐助表达自己的敬意和爱心。而此次的拍卖和义卖收入都将通过加优教育基金会定向捐赠。

Ink-based works of art, created with love, were shared to bring out our compassion as a selection of works created by CIEO students were put up for auction. These carefully-crafted passion projects made with student hands were sold with proceeds going to charity.  Bidding was enthusiastically and generous, showing respect for both the efforts of our young artists and aims of raising charitable donation. All proceeds from sale at the auction will be donated through the CIEO Education Foundation to help children in difficult situations.

加优教育基金会，自成立以来便以“积善聚源、育才强国”为理念，旨在建立起可持续的基金会筹款、管理、资助机制，为教育事业发展提供支持。通过在下属各园校成立“慈善银行”，组织孩子们进行有教学意义的慈善义卖、慈善义拍、慈善义演等活动，来呼吁和发扬善行。截止2017年12月31日，加优教育基金会已累计向社会捐赠款物达1200多万元。

Since its establishment, the CIEO Education Foundation has shared its philosophy of"accumulating good resources and fostering talents to strengthen the country"allowing it to develop sustainable fundraising, management and distribution mechanisms to support the development of education. Through the creation of our Giving Bank program in each of our branch location schools, children are inspired to conduct charity sales, auctions and performances among other activities to promote the doing of good deeds.By December 31, 2017, CIEO education foundation had donated more than 12 million RMB to various worthy causes.

惊喜三：多才多艺表演 展现慈善风采

Spread Love, Charity with Versatile Performances

CIEO旗下国际学校、外国语学校和幼儿园为现场嘉宾表演了精彩的独唱、歌舞、打击乐、钢琴演奏、合唱等节目，孩子们惟妙惟肖的表演给现场嘉宾带来了极大震撼的视、听觉享受。

Staff, students and parents from CIEO's international schools, foreign language schools and kindergartens performed wonderfully through group song and dance, solo performances and other musical sharing for our respected guests. Canadian Foreign Language School – Cambridgeshire Campus (CLS-C)’s parents and students' combined sign language with a vocal chorus in presenting "Passing Love Out" as a touching finale.  All of our performers, particular the kids among the, provided a pleasantly surpsising joy to those in attendance.

慈善，源于善心。从2000年到2018年，曾经的初心已坚持了十八个年头，CIEO一直秉承“教育就是爱”的宗旨，让爱心在希望中绽放，让希望在教育中成长，让教育在慈善中生辉。它就像一个被爱呵护着的婴儿，成长的道路虽星光熠熠但又崎岖难行，在被赋予着希望和信念的同时也背负着教育的神圣使命。

Charity comes from kindness. From 2000 to 2018, our initial compassion has held out for 18 years as CIEO has adhered to the principle of our slogan, "Education is Love." We strive to help love blossom in hope, which enables education shine through charitable works.  Like a baby who is loved and cared for, the path of growth is shining with stars, even if it may be rugged and difficult.  Those endowed with hope and faith help us our mission of education.

爱不在其新而在其心，善不在其形而在其行。慈善爱心红似火，暖冬熠熠感恩情。在这个充满温情的夜晚，CIEO怀揣着一份感恩的心，延续并传播着慈善之爱，并呼吁与社会各界的爱心人士一起在慈善之路上携手共进,帮助更多的中国下一代感受这人生中爱与阳光的拥抱！让我们将仁爱之根种心间，将慈善之花绽校园！

Love is more than a word or idea; it exists in a fulfilled heart. Goodness takes the shape of deeds performed only for its sake.Charity is like fire, warm winter shines with gratitude. On this night, we gathered together to carry warm hearts of gratitude, to preserve and spread the love of charity, and call upon people to join and help children in need. Let's plant the roots of love in our hearts so the flower of charity blossoms on our campuses!
