November brought with it CIEO's first-term kindergarten evaluations for the 2014-15 school year.  This year the competition amongst our schools was very fierce and for the first time was separated into two groups: International Kindergartens and Bi-Lingual Kindergartens.  Before we get to the winners in each group, we hope that all of our kindergarten staff will take a second to give themselves a pat on the back for the work they do in keeping CIEO kindergartens a leader children’s education.

The evaluations were conducted assessing everything from our Six International Programs to management work and from kindergartens’ environment to English teaching standards and EFL teaching methods. Class schedules, security, communication and attitude were all investigated with the ultimate goal of evaluations being a comprehensive performance assessment of all the staff in kindergartens and to give suggestions to help kindergartens provide better education and management.

"This year the scores were higher than other years,"said Kindergarten GM Jody Cardinal, "And all of our new schools are on the right track, even if their scores didn’t necessarily show it.  We saw our newer schools start out very strongly."This is, of course, a very encouraging sign for the future of CIEO kindergartens.

The winner of the International Kindergarten competition was Agile Kindergarten, with Asian Games Kindergarten winning the Bi-Lingual category.  Congratulations to our winning schools and a big head office thank you to all our staff in every kindergarten for the work you do every day to keep evaluation scores up and provide kids with the best possible environment for learning.
