Teachers’ Responsibility and Teaching Quality
Training for Foreign Teachers of CIEO

October 23-24, a training for foreign teachers of CIEO was held successfully in Huadu, Guangzhou. The main theme of this training was to reemphasize the importance of teachers’ responsibility and to help the foreign teachers have their teaching skills improved.
Over 130 foreign teachers from kindergartens, kids’ English Schools, International Schools, Language Schools and International High Schools owned by CIEO attended this training which was presided by Jody and Paul, foreign managers of the whole teaching team. The training consists of introductions to CIEO teaching philosophy and system, sharing of teaching experience and skills. It was very impressive that Mark, foreign manager of Dongshan Canadian International Kids’ English School gave a live demo class which greatly exemplified the education philosophy of CIEO—Education is love.
Andres Sanchez, a professional who gave two special trainings with the themes of Who Said Writing Can’t Be Fun and Level-reading, from which the foreign teachers had their own thinking and feedbacks in terms of English writing, level reading, English teaching and learning resources.
Foreign teachers got no little benefits from this training. Not only had the understanding of CIEO education philosophy reinforced but also the teaching skills improved.
