5月4日上午, 佛山市卡尔加里幼儿园举行“丽日豪庭共同体科学活动公开课研讨”活动，丽日豪庭共同体科学组全体成员出席活动。幼儿园秦静老师代表卡尔加里幼儿园开展科学活动示范课——《区分生蛋和熟蛋》。

    为保证活动能顺利进行，科学组的老师们积极提出了自己的宝贵建议和改进的方案。活动当天，老师们都很早来到幼儿园准备公开课的相关事宜。有的老师精心调制盐水；有的老师准备生蛋和熟蛋；有的老师负责检查课堂材料是否有缺漏。科学组的老师们齐心协力，凝心聚力，力助该课程达到最佳效果！

   “鸡蛋尖头在上，圆头在下，用力一扭。”只见熟鸡蛋像不倒翁似的摇晃着转，再歪歪扭扭地转，然后平躺着转，越转越慢，最后停了下来。生鸡蛋却任凭怎么用力，还是躺着转，而且转几圈就停了。秦静老师采用对比示范，设疑，创设探索等课堂教学方法为大家生动有趣地示范《区分生蛋与熟蛋》，获得了共同体老师们的一致赞赏与认可。

    课后，与会老师们围坐在一起分享、归纳、总结教学内容。此次公开课研讨活动进行得很顺利，也给共同体老师们提供了交流学习的机会。(完)

Professional Development Seminars at Calgary Kindergarten

Canadian Kindergarten – Calgary (CKE- CY)

On the morning of May 4th, Canadian Kindergarten Calgary (CKE-C) held a seminar on scientific activities and invited all members of the Liri Haoting Community. Teacher Jing Qin of Calgary Kindergarten helped teachers understand how to teach science through a demonstration class on distinguishing raw and cooked eggs.

All teachers came to the kindergarten very early to prepare for the event so that the activities smooth procedure could be assured. Some teachers modulated the salty water. Some prepared the raw eggs and cooked eggs. Others checked the materials for class. All teachers from the science department worked together to ensure the class went on in the best way.

“Rickety eggs roll in a wobbly, twisted way” said teacher Qin. Cooked eggs lay flat on their backs, slowly, and finally stop. The raw eggs lay around, and then stop after a few circles. Teacher Qin used the contrast demonstration to set up the question and create the method for exploring which was enjoyed by all teachers from the science department.

After class they sat together to share and make conclusions. The public class seminar went very well, and it was also a chance for community teachers to learn and communicate.
