值五一国际劳动节到来之际，加拿大国际机构（CIEO）旗下幼儿园开展一系列具有教育意义的庆祝活动，不仅让孩子们深入了解了国际劳动节的意义，感受了劳动的辛苦，体验了劳动的快乐，学会了劳动的技能，而且还培养着他们热爱劳动，尊重劳动，珍惜劳动成果，敢于奉献的良好品质，传承了“劳动最光荣”的传统美德。

  广州市番禺区雅居乐加拿达中英文幼儿园部分班级邀请家长助教来园开展“五一风采秀，秀出我风采”庆祝活动。家长们不仅生动有趣地向孩子们讲解警察的职业、服装、工作职责和奉献精神，还给孩子们开展别开生面的安全教育，激发他们对这些最可爱人的尊重和敬爱之情。

   东莞南城加美幼儿园分年级组开展“我有一双巧巧手”系列主题活动。小班级活动——“小鬼当家，我会……”，教幼儿如何自已穿衣、自已吃饭、自已上厕所等；中班级活动——“我是爸妈的小帮手”，教幼儿如何帮忙收垃圾、收拾玩具、收拾碗筷等；大班级活动——“爸爸妈妈辛苦啦”，告诉幼儿如何自已整理书包、帮爸妈按摩、整理床铺。节日过后，园内又举行了强化主题活动的比赛，孩子们各项劳动小技能明显有大幅提升。（完）

Labour Day Activities

May Day came and CIEO organized a series of activities, not only to let students examine the meaning of International Labour Day but to explore the feeling of hard labour; the joy, respect, the love and the pride of work well done.  We want our students to master skills for labour such that they can cherish achievements, and put effort into the quality, of work they do; these are the traditional values of labour day.

Canadian International Kindergarten - Agile (CKE-A) held an activity inviting parent teaching assistants for a celebration. Parents used vivid and interesting methods of explaining a police officers' occupation, clothing and activities as well as special safety education for the children. This activity helped children to learn more about the police's dedication to society and inspired their respect and love for these people.

"I have a pair of skillful hands" was the theme of activities held at  Canadian International Kindergarten CanAm (CKE-CA). "I will..." had small class children learning how to dress themselves, eat for themselves, and go to the washroom. "I am a little helper for my parents" saw middle class children learn how to collect garbage, pick up toys, and wash dishes the dishes. "Daddy, mama you are hard-working" showed big class children how to pack their schoolbag, help parents with a massage and make their beds.
