知名专家进机构，强强联手提升幼儿园课程构建。3月6日下午5时，加拿大国际教育机构（CIEO）园本课程构建启动仪式在番禺区时代外滩加拿达幼儿园举行。广州大学教育学院学前教育系主任叶平枝教授、副主任包玉娇教授、书记彭茜教授及研究生团队，CIEO学前事业部卢洁贞总监、林燕副总监及CIEO园本课程实验园的园长和老师们共同参加了启动仪式。
启动仪式当天，学前事业部卢洁贞总监向专家团队介绍了CIEO的办园情况、幼儿园师资水平、课程实施现状，并期望能在专家团队的引领下，更加科学系统地构建CIEO的园本课程。
CIEO课程总顾问叶平枝教授系统阐述了园本课程的总体构想、教材和参考用书的不同编写要求。叶教授还以小班《宝宝长大了》主题为例，进行了详尽的分享，让园长和老师们对园本课程有了更深刻的认识和理解。
为了让课程更加园本化、科学化，叶教授在分享后组织园长老师和专家团队按国际班和中文班分组进行讨论并布置了下阶段课程构建的任务。
课程在幼儿园的发展中扮演着重要角色，是幼儿园特色和内涵彰显的有力支撑。CIEO非常重视园本课程的研发与构建，通过园本课程的实施，“开启世界，给孩子无限可能”，将CIEO的教育理念和办园宗旨落到实处。
CIEO将以专家指导为契机，迎着课改的春风，砥砺前行；以《幼儿园工作规程》、《幼儿园教育指导纲要（试行）》、《3-6岁儿童学习与发展指南》精神为指导，尝试编制并完善园本化课程，从幼儿园的实际出发，结合办学目标，逐步形成真正适宜、有效的园本课程；在深化课程评价改革的基础上，提高教育整体质量，促进旗下所有幼儿园师幼共同发展。
Kindergarten Curriculum Construction Meeting
On March 6, the Canadian International Educational Organization(CIEO) held its launch ceremony on kindergarten-based curriculum (KBC) development at their Canadian Kindergarten, Times Bund. The director of CIEO’s Preschool Education Department Ms. Jennifer Lu, deputy director Coco Lin, principals and teachers, and Professor Ye Pingzhi, the director of the Department of Preschool Education from Guangzhou University, along with deputy director Bao Yujiao, professor Peng Qian and their research team, all attended the ceremony.
Ms Lu opened with a comprehensive introduction on our CIEO kindergartens’ current situation, teacher level and current curriculum implementation, with the expectation that CIEO’s kindergarten-based curriculum could be delivered in a more thoughtful manner under the guidance of experts. Reinforcing this point, Professor Ye made a presentation on the development of curriculum, text books and reference books. To make it more understandable, Professor Ye also presented a small class book to teachers. For the purpose of allowing KBC to better fit in with CIEO’s current operating practices, Professor also divided staff into an “International Group” and a “Chinese Group” to hold discussions and complete some assigned tasks for the next phase.
Curriculum, showing a kindergarten’s character and spirit, plays a very important role in a kindergarten’s development. CIEO attaches a great importance to its KBC development, CIEO will take this opportunity to advance its spirit, trying to gather and improve on its kindergarten-based curriculum, putting CIEO’s mission “Let’s Open a World of Possibilities to Your Child” in place.
