Canadian East Plaza Garden Kindergarten (CKE-EPG) is our 12th CIEO kindergarten. It is located in Vanke Citygate, Huangpu District, Guangzhou.

CKE-EPG opened in March 2016, and is a Beneficial Kindergarten, which covers 3035.7 square meters. It has 9 classrooms, and is equipped with advanced and dynamic facilities, in accordance with the evaluation standard for First-Tier kindergartens in the Guangdong Province, such as a dance room, a pottery room, a 3D science room, a cooking studio, an English salon, etc. We have also set up a swimming pool, a basin, and a playground in the outside area.

Education system

CKE-EPG is based around the purpose of building an intelligent community, focusing on making the kindergarten creative, artistic and more like a home. The kindergarten would like to arouse an interest in learning, the desire to explore, and to develop the creative in a child’s mind.

Educational characteristics

CKE-EPG uses an advanced system based around area centered activities, which allows the children to be imaginative, creative and expressive. Meanwhile, the kindergarten continues to build on the idea of our six international educational programs, and to allow the children to experience western culture, creating a positive value, and preparing to be world citizens.

Course designing

CKE-EPG’s courses are designed in accordance with the Reggio education system. Children will benefit from the program and experience a multi-culture interaction of the environment and materials. CKE-EPG follows CIEO bilingual courses as well, and tries to stimulate the children’s learning potential with games in an English-speaking environment.
