Lanna International School of Thailand was founded in 1993. In 2018, CIEO partnered with and became majority shareholders of Lanna International School Thailand.  Lanna International School of Thailand is licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges for Early Years (Kindergarten) through Year 13 education. Lanna is also a member of the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS) and a member of the International School Association of Thailand (ISAT). Lanna is also an established examination centre for all external examinations offered by both Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and Edexcel. Currently, Lanna has two campuses. The original campus of Lanna International School Thailand is located near the Chiang Mai International Airport. The new campus, located 15 minutes away across from North Hill Golf Course opened in August of 2018. The school follows programmes aimed towards students sitting IGCSE and AS/A level examinations in upper secondary years. With a record of high achievement in the A Level examinations, Lanna graduates receive university offers from around the world with many choosing to go to the UK.
