On April 12th, directors YonghongOu and Kai Yan from Tianhe Sports Center, 7 head coaches of baseball and hockey and principal JintianGuo from Sports School, Panyu, Guangzhou came to CLS to consult us on our our baseball, hockey and skateboarding programs. CLS director San and principalJulaine Percy introduced the courses as well as our school’s unique characteristics to them.

The inspection team visited our hockey stadium, gymnasium and other school sports facilities; watching hockey, baseball, and skateboarding classes at our school. After classes, former national baseball player Guangyuan Wang and former national hockey player Shufang Fan spoke with teachers and shared their experiences.

In the end, the inspection team greatly appreciated our work with hockey and baseball. Also, they admired the professionalism of our teachers and our students’ great habits. The specialists encouraged us to constantly reflect on our experiences and strive to make greater progress in the Canadian way of doing sports.

President Mr. Jeremic once said, people have realized that sports are an attractive and influential power in the world. Additionally, it can be used as a powerful developmental tool. The development of Canadian sports at CLS can help students establish a new concept of a healthy life.
