On 6th May, 2016, the First “Searching for the Best Pre-School Teacher” activity was held at the Hilton Hotel.

Invited by the organizer, the principals from CIEO kindergartens and schools, with members of the Parents' Commission, attended the ceremony.

Over 17,000 kindergartens took part in this activity. The organizers aimed to focus on the working environment of pre-school teachers in the GuangDong Province. With this activity, we had showncase an example to the educational filed, to raise the empathy towards our teachers, and to allow society to become more familiar with the jobs of teachers. Over the last 5 months, with more than ten thousand teachers having entered the competition, over 5 million people voted for their favorites. In the end, 32 teachers won the  award for “Best Pre-School Teachers of Guangdong”.

Our CIEO President, Winnie, was invited to deliver a speech. Winnie stated that the 11 kindergartens and 2 foreign language schools of CIEO have all won the achievements in the area of education, and this was due to the teachers’ hard work. She believed that society should pay more attention to pre-school teachers. At the same time, we hope that this competition has pushed teachers to try to get more achievements in the future.
