What kind of Open Day do parents want to see? Should the school give a speech to parents? Should teachers show their teaching skills in class? No! The traditional way of Open Day is history! On May 13rd, 2016, CLS-C gave you a different Open Day!
On this day, the CLS-C children took their parents into the school, went to his/her most home classroom, children discussed their usual subjects such as Chinese, math, English, science and showed parents what they have learned in the first part of the semester.
(Mom , you can test my knowledge!)
(Mom, Mr. Joe is teaching me.)
(Look, my homework is so good!)
(I am young, but my English is wonderful!)
(My math is terrific!)
(Do I look like a small scientist?)
Parents followed their "guide" and appreciated the wonderful show. Everyone experienced a real understanding of what their children learned at school. Parents were surprised to see that their children had learned so much. After watching the demonstrations, many parents wondered: "I have never seen such a demonstration. We can see the children¡¯s real learning environment. It¡¯s really wonderful!"
Seeing moms and dads with smiling faces, we know that today's Open Day must have been a fun and eye-opening experience. We believe that our CLS-C teachers will help bring up a brilliant generation.
