Terry Fox Marathon of Hope

       13th  Annual  Terry  Fox  Run  for   Cancer  Research  will   be  held  on  Saturday, December   5th,   2015.   For  this   worthy   cause,  we   seek  your   participation    and   support. Named after an inspiring young Canadian man, and first launched by a group of followersenthused to keep the young man's dream alive, Terry Fox Runs are now the largest single-dayfund raiser for cancer research worldwide. They have been held in more than 5000 locationsacross 30 countries every year. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Terry Fox Marathon of Hope. Last year about 4,800 people participated in the Twelfth Annual Terry Fox Run in Guangzhou.The runs to date have succeeded in raising about CNY 458,000 for local cancer research.The 2015 Terry Fox Run Committee is comprised of a cross section of the local community,interested in keeping Terry's dream alive of finding a cure for cancer. More participants areanticipated for this year's non-profit event, the proceeds of which will remain in Guangzhou andwill be distributed to local cancer research.
